Film tickets are selling out fast
others have merely a handful of tickets left.
BIFF director of public relations Duncan Hall told The Royal Gazette that tickets for screening of certain films have already been snatched up.
But, Mr. Hall said that even if a film is sold out, there is still a chance of scoring a ticket just before the screening.
Festival organisers have set aside a number of tickets for members of the press, VIPs and BIFF panellists and jurors. Any of these seats which are not taken by ten minutes prior to the showtime will go on sale to the general public.
Mr. Hall said Pandemonium, playing at the Liberty Theatre was sold out.
Several other films had only a limited number of regular tickets left, including; Loners, Maze, Innocence, Jalla! Jalla!.
Limited tickets are left for the following films: Dinner and a Movie, Jalla! Jalla!.
BIFF organisers have also added a third screening for Jalla! Jalla! next Thursday at 9 p.m. at Little Theatre.
On Saturday night, renowned director John Madden, whose film Shakespeare in Love won seven Oscars, was the star at `An Evening with John Madden', at City Hall. He talked with film critic David Poland and recieved an award from BIFF director Aideen Ratteray Pryse.
