Four star to open new outlet
open up an outlet in Somerset.
The firm's managing director, Mr. Marico Thomas, said the new operation could be open by the end of November of this year if everything goes smoothly.
The proposed site is on Somerset Road, Sandys, just around the corner from Somerset Cricket Club.
"We recognise this is an area which offers us great growth potential,'' said Mr. Thomas, whose firm has other outlets in Hamilton and Flatts.
Four Star Pizza's strong sales this year had made the expansion plan viable, he said.
At the moment, customers from the west end of the Island cannot have pizzas delivered to their door but must travel to Paget to meet a delivery person.
Despite the comparatively long distance, Mr. Thomas said that Four Star Pizza still had several customers in the Somerset area who were prepared to travel to pick up their meals.
The delivery boundaries for the new outlet have not been set, he added. Mr.
Thomas said that since Four Star Pizza dropped submarine sandwiches from its menu in May, the delivery time for pizzas had got quicker.
"We are trying to offer premium service by concentrating on our core business, which is making and delivering pizzas,'' he said.
