French consul honours top language achievers

Island's top French language students yesterday.Alliance Francaise of Bermuda, a charity dedicated to the promotion of French language and culture, asked every middle and senior school to select their best first-year students for the award.

Alliance Francaise of Bermuda, a charity dedicated to the promotion of French language and culture, asked every middle and senior school to select their best first-year students for the award.

Twenty-four students were recognised for their hard work and perseverance in French language. The students were, Warwick Academy's Kerrie Underwood, Jason Savory, Nathon Swan and Lyndsay Forrest.

From the Berkeley Institute: Malachi Smith, Michelle Romaine and Carl-Rita Tucker.

CedarBridge Academy students Johanna Nanette and Eugene Outerbridge and from Saltus, Chaminda Gunwardere, Cameronn Cooper, Sophie Cooke, Danielle Baikie and Lewis Forrest.

From Bermuda High School for Girls: Michele Smith, Louise Grenfell, Cierra Machado, Kalianne Marshall, Kristina Gibbonn and Belle Von Albrecht.

From Bermuda Institute: Sharai Brunson, Shammah Williams and Serena Simons.
