hurricane-wrecked Central America.

Mr. Masefield donated clothes to go to Honduras as part of an emergency aid campaign by St. John Ambulance, of which he is president.

St. John chairman Colin Curtis said the aim was to raise awareness amongst residents and try to collect as many garments as possible for the country devastated by Hurricane Mitch.

Already enough clothes to fill one container have been collected but the St.

John's are hoping to gather enough to fill more loads.

They are especially interested in getting childrens clothing and basic adult attire for the many people who lost their entire belongings in the disaster.

Clothes can be donated at the St. John's headquarters on Point Finger Road, Paget and at the Bermuda Perfumery, Hamilton Parish.

SETTING A GOOD EXAMPLE -- Governor Thorold Masefield hands over old clothing to St. John's Ambulance chairman Colin Curtis, as part of a campaign to send relief aid to Honduras, which was devastated by Hurricane Mitch.
