exercise and raise funds for charity with the Friends of Hospice's Walk to Remember Pledge Walk.

Friends of Hospice, the fund-raising arm of Agape House, will hold its annual event at Botanical Gardens in Paget on October 1 at 9.15 a.m. Two walks will be held within the gardens while a third, five-kilometre route will go outside the gardens.

Bank of Bermuda is sponsoring the event and pledge sheets can be obtained from all of its branches, King Edward VII Memorial Hospital or by calling Agape House on 232-0859.

Bank vice president and Centennial Trust manager David Lang said: "We are extremely pleased to be supporting this fund-raising event again this year.

Agape House provides an invaluable service to our community by providing care to the terminally ill and their families. We encourage everyone to come out in support.

Pre-registration for the event will be held at the bank's Front Street branch on September 28 and there will be registration on the day at the Botanical Gardens between 8.30 and 9.15 a.m.
