Meet the new assistant manager of the waterfront Bermuda Pharmacy, Deon Breary. Her radiant smile and charismatic personality is easily recognisable.

Ms. Breary has been with Phoenix Stores Ltd. for several years. Previously she was the supervisor of the Collector's Hill Apothecary. She received her promotion to assistant manager this past February.

"If you are a consistent hard working person you will find upward mobility at the Phoenix Stores. Mr. Grundmuller is an excellent CEO and he is hardworking too. He motivates his staff to do their best,'' Ms. Breary advised.

She is very much involved in the daily operations of the new Bermuda Pharmacy.

Her role requires her to deal directly with numerous customer requests. Ms.

Breary plays a huge role in supervising the staff, sales, presentation, ordering and purchasing products. If you have a special request Ms. Breary is your contact.

Ms. Breary anticipates about 13 staff to run the new waterfront store. She speaks highly of her staff and says they are all friendly, hardworking, dedicated and punctual. She describes herself as the sort of manager who is firm yet kind.

"This is a wonderful store. It has a prime location with long hours from 8 a.m.to 9 p.m. daily except Sunday. Our prices are reasonable and our staff is friendly. I am very excited about working here and I love our health and beauty products and the vast selections which we carry,'' she said with gusto.

The lavender therapy products are highly recommended by Ms. Breary. "They are reported to bring tranquillity to the user. You squeeze a small amount on a sponge during bath time. It relaxes the body and mind. The cleansing lather is blended with chamomile and valerian,'' she explained.

There is also a tangerine therapy to awaken the body and mind with the pure zing of natural tangerine.

Johnson's Sun Care products offer sun protection, 4-35 with UVA and UVB. There is a nice display in the new store and if you buy any two products you get a free gift. If you buy any three products you get a free beach towel as long as supplies last.

"We have a promotional season section for our new store. Right now we are featuring summer products such as the `wetset' but the theme changes. This fall the section will be loaded with back to school things.'' Ms. Breary is very enthusiastic and confident about their new state-of-the-art Phoenix Store and is looking forward to a long successful career with the firm.
