docks to accommodate the front loading faster ferries.

The Ministry of Works and Engineering is looking to get evidence of similar projects that contractors have completed or are in the progress of building, particularly showing experience with piling rigs and the availability of piling equipment.

Anticipated costs for the different sites are expected to range from between $500,000 to $2,000,000.

The successful contractor will be expected to construct piled breakwaters, piled berthing dolphins, and new sea walls.

The first phase of construction is expected to commence early next year and be operational by next September.

Interested contractors are invited to contact George Peck at the Ministry via letter to George Peck, Government's Principal Civil Engineer for Structures at P.O. Box HM 525, Hamilton HMCX.

Further details can be obtained from Mr. Peck at 297-7704 or Russell Titmuss at 297-7962.
