Bailiffs have been called in to auction off the contents of the Odyssey nightclub in order to pay off creditors.

A writ has now been issued against Troy Starr Ltd, the company that owns the club. Sound systems, chairs, bar stools and tables, liquor and office equipment, are all set to be sold off in the auction, which will be held at the club on October 9.

It is understood the club, run by Clarence Tucker, has a number of creditors, although their identity still remains a mystery.

It is understood that Mr. Tucker is also currently off the Island at the moment attending the trial of his son Tracy in St. Maarten. Tracy Tucker is charged with importing a massive stash of cocaine into the Caribbean island.

Michael Smith, the attorney acting for the club, said he did not want to comment on the case for fear of "jeopardising negotiations'' with creditors.
