PALMS 26-9 to sweep their play-off series 2-0 in Commercial League action at
Pitcher Mario Valcourt had his opponents in the PALMS of his hands. Only Austin John, who had three hits in three at bats, could unlock the riddle of his pitching wizardry.
Valcourt helped his own cause with four hits, including three home runs and an astounding 12 runs batted in.
Cooper & Lines also swept their series against Business Systems Limited with a narrow 8-6 triumph.
Winning pitcher Bob Morrison had plenty of support from Mike Evans, J.P.
Harrop and Andrew Beek, who each contributed three hits. Mark Elridge of BSL also had three hits, but in a losing cause. William Walden was the losing pitcher.
