internationally famous psychic Uri Geller, presents his own show at the City Hall next week.

The 27-year old, who has gained a big following in his native England, plans two clairvoyance shows in which the audience will be encouraged to participate.

"I was born with this gift and have a great passion in what I do,'' he says.

"My whole life evolves around trying to help others. I was aware of my gift by the time I was four, but my mother told me to stop being daft!'' Explaining that he has been working as a professional medium now for eight years, Mr. Fowler, who also writes his own newspaper column, adds: "I have helped -- and startled -- many people over the years, including Uri Geller whom, as you know, is a very respected man within the paranormal.

"We have worked together several times, including a stage show in aid of the Kashmir hostages and we also did a national radio show together in London at Christmas time.'' Mr. Fowler, who has vacationed in Bermuda twice, reveals that part of the proceeds from his two shows will be donated to a Bermuda charity.

`Gary Fowler, International Medium' takes place at City Hall on Monday, March 9 and Wednesday, March 11, at 7.30 p.m. Tickets at $48 are on sale from Barbarella Barber Shop (Church Street Mall, opposite City Hall), telephone 296-4862.
