last week's World Rugby Classic, married his girlfriend, Miss Michelle Powell, on the cliffs of Astwood Park a day before the tournament started.

Mr. Kennedy, a 36-year-old salesman from Kansas City, said: "I've been to Bermuda many times before and told her how beautiful it was. The tournament provided us with the perfect opportunity to get married.'' His bride, 25, is an art director with an advertising agency and hails from Iowa.

Although the Classic ended last weekend, the couple are staying on an extra week to explore the Island together. The wedding was organised by The Bridal Suite, which is run by Mr. Allister Simmons and his wife, Carmen, and specialises in arranging weddings in Bermuda for people living abroad.
