Shopping in Dockyard
shopping here is great because the shops are arranged in a neat little package in the historic shopping mall. Many of Hamilton's finest stores have branches here such as Trim's, Calypso, Carole Holding to name a few but they do close daily at 5 pm. They are open on Sundays 1-5pm.
One can take his er time here and serenely shop until you drop. If you feel you need a spot of tea try Beethoven's high tea from 3.30 to 4.30. You will become refreshed, uplifted and delighted.
If you want a less formal place for a reasonable tea walk around to the Dockyard Convenience Store , near the ferry, and have tea and home made apple or lemon tarts with Ms. Linda or Mark Osinga. It's not fancy but there are picnic tables to sit upon outdoors. This is a super place to shop for items for your boat and there's a great selection of nautical books. The local yachties hang out here. Looking for a yachtsman? This is it but I can't promise that he's rich. It costs a bit to berth a yacht in Bermuda but Mark's charges are fair.
WEST END SHOPPING -- The Clocktower Shopping Mall features many branches of Hamilton stores in a quiet, relaxed setting. In addition, there are many unique shops in the Mall.
