Receiving $2,000 each were Sgt. Dwight Robinson who is at Clark Atlanta University, Pte Dhwanna Denwiddie at Hampton University, Pte Tawana Flood at George Washington University, Pte Carmen Trott at Carleton University, and Pte Sharif Taylor at J.F. Drake State Technical College. Two Bermuda College students, Pte Belcario Thomas and Pte Jermahl Eve, each received $1,000 awards.
