Washington, DC, has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 25.

The Public Transportation Board special activities committee's Helping Hand Walkathon was originally scheduled for last weekend but was postponed because of bad weather.

The walkers will leave the bus garage on Palmetto Road at 8 a.m. on the 25th, head east to Flatts, walk around Harrington Sound and return to Palmetto Road -- a distance of about 11 miles.

Anyone who wants to join the walk -- and contribute to the May 5 trip to Washington -- should contact Mr. Albert Thompson at the Public Transportation Board, tel. 292-3851.
