You're never too old.

And if you think you might be, just take a page out of newlyweds Carlton and Ellen Warren's book.

For the honeymooners were married just six days ago at the tender ages of 89 and 79 respectively.

Yesterday Mr. Warren spoke to The Royal Gazette from the Lantana Colony Club where the couple are staying.

"We have been vacationing here on our honeymoon and are finding it lovely. It is our first time here for both of us.'' His wife Ellen admitted that northern New England was their first choice for a honeymoon spot but the time of year was not right.

"A lot of people recommended Bermuda but we both love northern New England.

However it would not have been to good there in April because none of the flowers would have been out and it might have been muddy or even snowing.

"So we said if we can't do northern New England then we will come to Bermuda.

We have been enjoying the Lantana and its grounds.

"We did get into Hamilton and went to the Botanical Gardens which was lovely but mostly we have been enjoying things here.'' The couple come from the "birthplace of American liberty'' -- Lexington, Massachussetts -- and have eight children and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren between them. They return home tomorrow.
