Mr. Dill, who heads the Education and Human Affairs ministries, left Bermuda on Budget Day.

He reportedly appeared weak as he prepared to board a Delta Air Lines flight to Boston with his wife, Jannell.

The tests, believed to be purely a precautionary measure, followed a scare when Mr. Dill became ill while playing tennis on Valentine's Day weekend.

The 37-year-old lawyer was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for tests before returning to his home to recuperate.

However, Assistant Cabinet Secretary Robert Horton yesterday told The Royal Gazette Mr. Dill was doing well.

"He has been in the US having medical tests,'' Mr. Horton said. "He is scheduled to return tomorrow.'' Mr. Dill is expected to be back in his office at Appleby, Spurling & Kempe later this week.
