At 7.30 p.m., E. Michael Jones will auction oils, watercolours, collage, photography and sculpture at the Edinburgh Gallery in City Hall. Items have been submitted by a variety of local artists, including Bruce Stuart, Diana Amos, Wil Collieson and Steven Masters.

"The opportunity to capture this work in progress was a unique opportunity for artists to work `en plein air','' said Mr. Stuart, President of the Bermuda Society of Arts.

The highlight of the auction is a painting by Steven Masters, featuring the House flanked by cannons.

A display featuring the restoration project has also been mounted in the gallery. Representatives from the Museum Board of Trustees will be on hand to discuss The Commissioner's House restoration project.

The preview will begin at 5:30 p.m tomorrow. Artwork will remain on display until August 7.
