Police officers attended a Cockburn Lane residence shortly after 9 p.m. Monday where they discovered the child vomiting.

They rushed the baby girl and her mother in an unmarked Police car to an ambulance which took them to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where the child was treated.

SENATOR IN LEGAL ROW SEN Senator in legal row A Government Senator and lawyer is at the centre of a $9,000-plus row over rent on his former offices.

Sandys Holding Co. Ltd. -- former landlords of Sen. Larry Scott -- have lodged a Supreme Court writ against him to recover the cash.

Sen. Scott said the writ was related to his old office building in Somerset.

He added the writ involved rental for the building -- but he insisted he had made improvements to the building, which should be offset against the money Sandys Holding is claiming.

VISITOR ROBBED CRM Visitor robbed An 18-year-old visitor was robbed of a small quantity of cash by a knife-wielding attacker while walking along Cedar Avenue on Monday evening.

The attacker was described as a stocky bearded black male between five feet, ten inches and five feet, 11 inches tall with a `shaggy' afro.

The man was wearing a multi-coloured shirt, tan shorts and sneakers and escaped by running toward the Court Street area.

MAN LOSES SURETY CTS Man loses surety A Pembroke man yesterday found himself in custody after his surety revoked her support.

Anthony Winslow Outerbridge, of School Lane, appeared in Magistrates' Court yesterday to face trespassing charges brought by the surety.

Outerbridge pleaded not guilty to committing the offence and a trial date was set for August 7.

But Senior Magistrate Will Francis told the man the court had received a letter from his surety which said she no longer wished to vouch for Winslow's court attendance.

Mr. Francis therefore told Outerbridge he would have to find another surety before he could be released from Police custody.

SENTENCE FOR STUDENT CTS Sentence for student Receiving a $7 hand pump has landed a student in Magistrates' Court.

Odin Marcus Lowe, 16, of High Point Lane, Devonshire pleaded guilty yesterday to unlawfully receiving a pump valued at $6.91 which he knew had been stolen.

Senior Magistrate Will Francis bailed the teenager for $500 with a like surety and ordered that a social inquiry report be carried out on Lowe who is to return to court for sentencing on August 3.

FISHERMAN OFF THE ROAD CTS Fisherman off the road A fisherman's plea for leniency fell on deaf ears yesterday in Magistrates' Court.

Leonard J. Outerbridge, of Trinity Road, Hamilton Parish, pleaded guilty to driving while impaired.

Crown counsel Lesley Basden said Police stopped Outerbridge near the St.

David's roundabout on May 21.

According to the Police record, Outerbridge's private car nearly hit their marked car.

Outerbridge later told the officers he had "had one or two drinks'' but refused to give a sample.

But yesterday the 49-year-old apologised to the court and asked Senior Magistrate Will Francis to consider his occupation before passing sentence.

"I beg for a little leniency,'' said Outerbridge.

Mr. Francis banned Outerbridge from driving all motor vehicles for one year and ordered him to pay a $450 fine.

CITY BAR BURLED CRM City bar burgled Police are on the lookout for thieves who broke into a Hamilton bar.

The Captain's Lounge on Reid Street was targeted by thieves on Sunday night who broke into the bar's cigarette machine and stole beer and cash.
