three times a week.
The Bermuda Diabetes Association have come up with some ways that even the busiest person can incorporate activity into our daily routine: Put on some music and dance; Wash the car; Turn housework into an aerobic workout; Do some gardening or mow the lawn; If you have a cordless telephone, walk around while you are talking; Get up 20 minutes earlier to do push-ups or sit-ups; Do stretches or sit-ups during commercial breaks while watching television; Take a walk during your lunch break; Whenever possible take the stairs instead of the elevator; Park your car further away from your destination so that you get a little longer walk; Rent an aerobics video as well as a movie when you go to the video store; and If you take the bus get off a couple of stops early and walk the rest of the way.
