among five Bermudians to receive special achievement awards tonight.The awards are for their role in improving Bermuda, and positive contributions to the independence debate.

The awards are for their role in improving Bermuda, and positive contributions to the independence debate.
They will be presented during the first W.G. Brown-Walter Robinson Memorial Lecture organised by the Committee for the Independence of Bermuda.
Another to be awarded is veteran lawyer and Shadow Labour and Home Affairs Minister Mrs. Lois Browne Evans.
The other recipients are lawyer Mr. Arnold Francis, QC; former Senate President Mr. Hugh Richardson; and Workers Voice columnist Mr. Alvin Williams.
The presentation ceremony follows the lecture, which will be held at the Leopard's Club, starting at 7.30 p.m.
