BIFF organisers call it a wrap
and awards ceremony at Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute.
There are a limited number of party tickets on sale today at the two theatres and the Rock Island Coffee BIFF Buzz booth on Reid Street. The tickets are $70 including drinks.
Awards for Best Film, Best Documentary, Best Short and Audience Choice will be presented at the party which begins at 9 p.m.
Tickets for the closing night film, `Pandemonium' (Liberty Theatre, 8.30 p.m.) and the 6.30 p.m. screening of `Jalla! Jalla!' at Little Theatre are sold out.
BIFF organisers would like to remind the public that walk-up tickets will still be available for whichever press and VIP seats are not claimed for sold out screenings. And tickets are still available for the 9 p.m. screening of `Jalla! Jalla!' also at Little Theatre.
In other BIFF news, one of the shorts being screened -- `Last Request' directed by Tom Hodges -- has been picked up by HBO. You can still catch the last local screening of `Last Request' this afternoon at 3 p.m. at Liberty Theatre. It will be followed by the feature film, `The Stranger'.
