Bridge the Gap with Warwick

want to do something positive about it? Then you might want to join singer Dionne Warwick at this weekend's Bridging the Gap Forum hosted by the Healing Families charitable organisation.

Ms Warwick will be the special guest speaker at `Bridging the Gap -- Bermuda's response to the impact of substance abuse on families'.

The event will take place on Saturday at CedarBridge Academy from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature Cathi Coridan as the keynote speaker.

*** The Bermuda Business and Professional Women's Club will host their 24th Annual Prayer Breakfast Meeting this Sunday.

The event will take place at the Sonesta Beach Hotel at 8 a.m. and Premier Jennifer Smith will be the guest speaker.

*** Pride Youth to Youth Performance Team will present a family fun-filled drug prevention, participatory theatre production this weekend.

`Our War on Drugs' will take to the stage at the City Hall Theatre Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m.

Reserved patron tickets are $25 and are available from the PRIDE Office at 295-9970.

Regular tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for adult PRIDE members, $10 for school aged children and $7 for PRIDE youth members. All regular tickets are on sale at the City Hall Theatre.

*** The Bermuda Art Centre at Dockyard will launch the exhibition entitled `Journeys' this weekend.

The juried members show is based on the theme of travel and the artwork will reflect member's travel experiences and their journey through life.

The exhibition will run until May 7.
