Live commentary on the parade will be broadcast on Radio VSB Mix 106FM.

The broadcast will also be simulcast over a public address system at the Flagpole on Front Street and at Albouy's Point.

The radio programme will be co-hosted by Peter Lewis of Radio VSB and Norma Thomson, founder, of the BUEI Christmas Boat Parade., "We encourage spectators to bring their radios with them and tune in to Mix106,'' said chairman of the organising committee, Ian Coles.

"This is a great way to follow the parade. The broadcast will also be a great way for those who will be at home that evening to share in the excitement and atmosphere of the boat parade''.
