Owner Mr. Louis Ooi said he was very pleased with business over the weekend saying that Easter and Christmas are the bakery's two busiest times of the year.

"People say our buns are the best,'' he said. "We don't go for quantity alone. We go for quantity and quality together.'' Mr. Ooi, who bought the Crow Lane Bakery in December, 1990, said business is back to normal as road work surrounding the bakery is nearing completion.

He said business picked up early in the week last week and ended with approximately 10,000 buns being sold on Thursday. "We started making them on Wednesday night and into Thursday morning so they would be fresh,'' he said.

"Then on Saturday we sold another few thousand.'' Mr. Ooi said the buns sold at $3.60 for a half dozen.
