Butterfield, Carter in charity ride for Masterworks

for their "Biking for Bucks''. The annual Masterworks fundraiser pedals off in Cornwall on June 18 and ends (with any luck) about 12 days later in Scotland.

The target, says the indomitable Mr. Butterfield, is not only to equal the amount reached two years ago, but to also win the Griffin Trophy. This is given by the Land's End-John O'Groats Assocation in recognition of the highest funds pledged for charity.

Anyone wishing to make pledges (large or small!) to help Masterworks in their bike marathon should telephone 295-2379 as soon as possible.

*** Meals on Wheels is looking for volunteers to be drivers or assistants.
