Mrs. Jeanne Pare, curator at the Centre says that members should bring their work in on March 17 and 18: "I would like to remind everyone that they may submit up to four pieces of work, which must be available for sale.'' Jurying for this "open'' time at the Dockyard gallery will take place Friday, March 19, with preference being given to work that has not been previously publicly shown.

US CADET CONCERTS MUS Visiting Bermuda as part of its Spring tour is the US Naval Academy Gospel Choir.

The Choir will perform twice on Thursday. The first concert will be for the public on City Hall steps from 12.30 to 1.30 p.m. The other concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the US Naval Air Station theatre.

The choir, which specialises in gospel music from traditional hymns to the popular contemporary gospel music of today, was formed in 1985 and has more than 50 members.

The tour, which also includes engagements at US churches, schools, universities and community centres, is part of the Academy Candidate Guidance Office's ongoing recruitment effort. It is also designed to show minority students that a variety of extracurricular activities are available at the Academy.

The choir will also perform at 11 a.m. at the Naval Air Station's chapel on Sunday.
