Bermuda to have a "casual day'', allowing staff to wear T-shirts to work to celebrate the event.

The Eden Project takes place on February 26 at Number One Shed, Hamilton as a showcase for environmentally-friendly products and ideas.

More than 20 companies and conservation organisations have snapped up trade booths for the event.

Companies supplying irrigation schemes, health foods and supplements, water and sanitation products and indoor air systems will take part.

Keep Bermuda Beautiful, Growing With Trees, the Bermuda Historical Society, and the Ministries of Transport and the Environment will also set up booths.

Four main speakers are being lined up and there will be discussion panels on issues such as healthy living and ways to preserve the environment and save money on utility bills.

The organisers are also encouraging individuals and companies to buy T-shirts for the day.

Anyone interested in the event should call Jane Brett on 293-5858 or check the website www.bermudanow.com/eden.
