Chirafisi -- who is governor of Rotary District 7230 which includes Manhattan, Staten Island, the Bronx, Westchester County and Bermuda -- is one of only eight women serving as District Governors of Rotary International. Mr. Ruger -- who was on his 99th visit to the Island -- recently retired after some 20 years of organising Rotary visits to Bermuda.
