"I have been back in Bermuda for four years and have wanted to become involved with a Bermudian organisation, but did not want to be over committed.

I saw an advertisement placed by Big Brothers and Big Sisters for people to join their new PR/Marketing Committee.

This advertisement appealed to me for three reasons.

The first, as a new mother, I am seeing the importance of family, friends and role models in a new light.

The second reason was the amount of time required suited my lifestyle as a working mother.

And thirdly, it is an organisation which my father was involved at its conception.
