Co-owner and manager Mr. Paul Lawrence said yesterday the Clarendon House business was closed this week while Esco Tiling workers installed a new commercial floor.

"We chose this slow time of year to retile the floor and will reopen on Monday,'' said Mr. Lawrence, a partner in the Hickory Stick for five years.

The deli has operated from its present location for eight years.
