windfall for a local Christian outreach programme.

Lesley Archer, XL's facilities manager, found herself saddled with almost 3,000 packing boxes when the company made the move into its new offices last week.

Luckily there is plenty of demand for the boxes. The new building means that a lot of office space has been freed up in the City -- space which is being eagerly snapped up by other companies.

Mrs. Archer decided to arrange for Young Life, a Christian outreach programme for teens, to take possession of the boxes and sell them on to companies in need.

The teens have been collapsing and folding the used boxes and plan to charge $2 each for the boxes.

Charlie Frank, area director for Young Life, told The Royal Gazette that the funds will be applied toward sending some 25 young people to summer camp in Virginia this year.
