but have a starring role in his own play, Here on the Flight Path , when it opens in the Gazebo Room of the Princess Hotel tonight.
Since Ontario-born Mr. Foster first began writing plays in his 30s, his output has been prolific. In 1998 alone, four new plays opened, including A Foggy Day , a musical collaboration piece which became the hit of the 1998 Shaw Festival Season.

For the past six years Miss Monid has been adjudicating the New Brunswick Drama Festival, and for two years was an organiser of Theatre New Brunswick's Brave New Words series of workshop productions featuring new plays from the Atlantic region.
In 2000, Miss Monid will be seen in a new CBC-TV series, Daring and Grace.
