at two beginners' workshops to be conducted by Mr. Elmer Midgett through the Bermuda Society of Arts next month.

Mr. Midgett, a stained glass artist and oils painter, plans to run courses in the copper foil method and also teach an introduction to acid etching, glass painting and firing.

The classes have been arranged in two time frames for people who work during the week. The first course begins on Saturday and Sunday, October 24 and 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and continuing the next weekend, October 30 and 31.

Another workshop will be held for four consecutive days, from Tuesday, October 27 through 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The course costs $300 and includes all materials necessary to complete a project. Deadline for enrolment is Friday, October 16. For information call the Bermuda Society of Arts, tel. 292-3824.
