honoured today at Government House for their participation in the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.

The presentation of Bronze, Silver and Gold awards will be hosted by Governor Thorold Masefield at 4 p.m.

The scheme encourages responsibility, self-reliance, community awareness and perseverance in young people.

Attending participants will be from The Berkeley Institute, The Bermuda High School for Girls, CedarBridge Academy, Mount Saint Agnes Academy, Saltus, Warwick Academy, and the Cadet Corps of the Bermuda Regiment.

This is the second Duke of Edinburgh presentation this month. The first was held on June 17 for participants from the Co-Ed Facility.
