Managers at The Little Theatre were impressed by high sales and packed seats as parents try to snap up tickets.

Manager Mike Johnson said: "We're very pleased with the results this year.

It's a sell-out every show.'' Mr. Johnson would not disclose how much money the movie has grossed so far.

The movie is now in its fourth week at the theatre.

Last week, five or six children were waiting in line for the 5 p.m. show when the Royal Gazette was leaving the theatre around 4 p.m.

One parent said his two children saw the movie three times and smiled when asked how many times he saw it.

"It's good to take them to the movies,'' he said.

Perry Jones, a plumber for Bermuda Air Conditioners, pleaded guilty to impaired driving on December 20 while riding down Angle Street in the wrong direction.

Jones, 55, of Tills Hill, was fined $750 and disqualified from driving all vehicles for a year after tests revealed his alcohol/blood level was 144 milligrams in 100 millilitres of blood.
