G&S Society to stage Cole Porter classic

but now, God knows, anything goes...'' Following last year's smash hit "Les Miserables'', the Gilbert & Sullivan Society are set to serve up an entirely different show with their performance of Cole Porter's 1934 "Anything Goes''.
Mark Dorrell, who was the musical director for Les Miserables, will be lending his talents for the upcoming show as well.
Barbara Frith will be director and choreographer, and Ron Campbell who played Jean Valjean in Les Mis, will be assistant to the director.
The show will run from October 7 to 16, and auditions will be in May. Producer Marjorie Stanton said further details will be announced shortly.
