Antonio Fargas is best known for his portrayal of Huggy Bear in the hit series, `Starsky and Hutch'.

In films, he starred in the hit movie, `I'm Gonna Get You Sucka' and his many Broadway credits include `The Great White Hope' (with James Earl Jones) and off-Broadway `Romeo and Juliet'.

The story of Toussaint, the 18th century Haitian revolutionary, takes on a topical interest as Haiti, two hundred years later, still struggles to establish democracy.

Born as a slave, Toussaint managed to educate himself, reading the writings of military generals, in order to prepare himself to lead the fight for his country's freedom. His remarkable story is brought to life by Audley Haffenden, the Jamaican playwright.

`Toussaint: Angel Warrior of Haiti' opens tomorrow, May 11 through May 13.

Tickets at $30 are available at the City Hall Box Office from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will be a reception after the show on opening night in the foyer of City Hall, attended by Mr. Fargas. All first-night ticket holders are invited to attend.
