Hats off to the Sunshine League
party on Sunday in the Alamanda Gardens of the Elbow Beach Hotel in Paget.
While savouring their afternoon tea, patrons were serenaded by pianist Michael Fox and later enjoyed a beautiful hat show coordinated by `Mr. Fashion' himself, Glen Wilkes.
The Sunshine League Children's Home is a non-profit foster home which has served the Island's needs since 1919. It provides out of home placement for children between the ages of eight and 15 who are in need of a supportive environment.
*** The world-wide Latin craze has come to Bermuda with the opening of the new night-spot Azure.
The entertainment complex and nightclub opened last Thursday with a sold-out black tie affair featuring salsa sensation Jimmy Bosch and his 10-piece orchestra from New York City.
Azure, located on 511 South Side, St. David's, is open from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m.

The organisations have got together to offer Mutual Membership Weekend -- free admission to each other's facilities on May 13 an 14.
The Bermuda Aquarium Museum and Zoo, the Bermuda National Gallery, the National Trust, the Maritime Museum and the Island's forts are all taking part in the Mutual Membership Weekend.
Members must show their membership identification when entering the attractions.
