Inn's $300,000 up-grade

renovations costing $300,000. The restaurant has increased its seating capacity to 50, doubled its pizza menu, and extended its opening hours.

Manager and head cook Mr. Ermete Troja, who owns the business with his wife Anna, said the restaurant had needed sprucing up. "The Speciality Inn was kind of too old,'' said Mr. Troja, who is from Italy. "The building needed to be upgraded.

"We have expanded the kitchen and toilet facilities, improved the dining room, knocked walls down and rebuilt ceilings and floors. A lot has been done.'' The restaurant serves a variety of homemade hot and cold food, specialising in pizzas and homemade rolls, which are made with a special type of bread imported from a particular part of Italy.

Previously open only three nights a week, the Speciality Inn, which is located at the junction of Collector's Hill and South Road, is now open from 6 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday to Friday.
