Once you leave the nest, can you ever really go back home again? Can you turn back the clock? If you take your cue from the film "I Want to Blow Up Silicon Valley'', directed by Jason Ward, then you'll come to the simple conclusion that you can't.

After his father's death, Rob returns to his childhood home in Silicon Valley to settle more that just his father's affairs.

Aside from selling the family home, Rob is in search of a teenage girlfriend that he `wants back'.

But as with everything in life, things change and people move on.

The rustic oasis where Rob grew up has turned into a haven for "latte drinking, keyboard-tapping yuppies'' while the girl he desperately wants to find has moved on with her life.

When his only `friend' in the area is killed in an accident as a result of `yuppie cyclers' and the new women in his life is transferred from the area, Rob is pushed over the proverbial edge.

He hooks up with a bitter computer programmer who wants to avenge his father's death. The father was electrocuted while fixing wires at a Silicon Valley company.

Together the pair hatch a ridiculous plan to `blow up' Silicon Valley because "it was put in the wrong place''.

This is when the picture moves from being just a boring film plagued with poor acting to an utterly ludicrous movie.

I must admit that I was curious to see if their silly plan would work or if these angry young men will grow up and accept the a few fact about life -- that time doesn't stand still, life is not perfect and that you can't change the past, only look to the future.

However, as with most things in life, these pathetic terrorist who convey little passion for their `cause' must learn this lesson the hard way while suffering dire consequences.
