So she set out to repay the kindness shown at Bermuda's hospice for the terminally ill.

She decided to raise funds for it with fellow tenants at Dockyard's Clocktower Mall.

And on October 29 they staged a fashion and jazz show, helped by the West End Development Corporation.

The event raised $1,345, which the tenants handed over at a special cheque presentation ceremony yesterday to the hospice co-ordinator Mrs. Hilary Soares.

"The hospice staff proved what wonderful caregivers they are. I thought Agape House would be a good cause,'' said Ms Frith.

"Everyone in the mall participated. We all get on very well.'' Ms Frith added the fund-raisers were planning another event in the spring.
