Miss Cardell is planning to develop innovative ways to generate new methods to stimulate local and visitor interest in the museum.

A recent recipient of a Bachelor of Business Management degree from Ryerson Polytechnical University in Toronto, Canada, Miss Cardell specialised in marketing management and studied technical communications.

"I look forward to this new challenge,'' she said.
