Mr. Edward Smith, fund-raising chairman, said: "We always set goals for ourselves. Last year we made approximately $9,500 from Tag Day so this year we plan to beat that with $10,000.'' Last year the TB & Cancer Association outdid itself with $52,000 from the sale of Christmas seals. "That was the best we have ever done,'' said Mr. Smith.

Mrs. Elaine Harrington, executive secretary for the association said there are no government grants as the association is a privately registered charity.
