Crockwell's King Fried Chicken outlet in York Street, St. George's.

It will be based along the lines of its sister restaurant, Pasta Basta, in Elliott Street, Hamilton, and will offer an extensive menu of pasta dishes.

Both businesses are owned by Mr. Fosco Nannini and his wife, Sharon, who also own Il Palio restaurant in Somerset.

Mr. Nannini said: "We're very excited about this new venture and believe it will be a welcome addition to the facilities of St. George's.'' Pasta Pasta is open from 12 noon to 10.30 p.m., Monday to Saturday, and from 5 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. on Sunday.
