Orchestra holds free park concert

Corporation of Hamilton spokesman Mr. Roger Sherratt said the 40-member Bloomsburg Symphony Orchestra -- which came to Bermuda on board the Dreamward from Pennsylvania -- will play a variety of music, including selections from popular musicals, television shows and films.

Corporation of Hamilton spokesman Mr. Roger Sherratt said the 40-member Bloomsburg Symphony Orchestra -- which came to Bermuda on board the Dreamward from Pennsylvania -- will play a variety of music, including selections from popular musicals, television shows and films.

The concert is from 12.30 to 1.30 p.m.

The corporation will provide additional seating.

"This will be a special treat for people who work in Hamilton and can take the time out to visit the park,'' Mr. Sherratt said. "We also invite the general public and visitors to be there for what should prove to be a wonderful concert.''
