PALS set to hold its annual fair on weekend

The Patience Assistance League will host its 18th Annual Fair this weekend at the St. Paul's Christian Education Centre in Paget.

This year's fair, under the distinguished patronage of the Governor's wife Jennifer Masefield, will feature baked goods, books, crafts, white elephant and a bingo game.

There will also be hayrides, face painting and a dragon's castle for youngsters to enjoy.

The event will get underway at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 7 and continue until 5 p.m.

*** Be the best you can be by using the wisdom in your dreams.

Ann Sayre Wiseman M.A. will host a series of workshops later this week based on this principle.

The `Body Mapping' workshop, which uses art and collage materials to translate inner feelings into visual symbols, will take place on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8. The two-day workshop will cost $250.

A second, two-day workshop entitled Dreams as Metaphor: The Power of The Image, will commence on Monday, November 9 or Wednesday, November 11. This workshop, which costs $125, will teach participants how to "dream stage'' in order to help them to understand their dreams.

All of the workshops will get underway at 10 a.m. daily.

And anyone interested in meeting Ms Wiseman can attend a free Introductory Slide Show on Friday, November 6 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Woodlands School on Mount Hill in Pembroke.
