Details were thin on the ground yesterday but Mrs. Shirley Egenwolf, wife of co-owner Mr. Franz Egenwolf, said the new restaurant/take-out operation may open as soon as tomorrow.
"The building has been renovated and the finishing touches are being completed at the moment,'' she said. "I believe it's due to open this week.'' Pizza House, which is owned by Mr. Egenwolf and Mr. Ralph Saints, already has outlets at Shelly Bay, Hamilton Parish and Heron Bay, Southampton.
The Reid Street premises have been vacant for several months following the sudden closure of The Ram's Head under a mountain of debt.
