Taking advantage of a visit by Jack Williams, of The Ecke Poinsettia Ranch in California, the department will hold a seminar on propagation on Monday.

The seminar, to be held in the Arrowroot Factory in the Botanical Gardens from 7 p.m., is open to the public and will be of particular interest to both poinsettia growers with experience and those who are considering becoming involved in local poinsettia propagation.

Mr. Williams will also visit many local poinsettia growers to answer their questions and to demonstrate efficient growing practices.
