Raising Christmas cash for kids
for $40,000.
The funds were raised from the Kardias Club's Glamour and Romance Fashion Show held last month at the Southampton Princess Hotel.
The event featured Amsale Aberra's, American designer to the rich and famous, Fall/Holiday 2000 collection.
A Child's Wish is a charity which grants wishes for children experiencing some catastrophic event, life threatening illness or ongoing medical challenge.

Tomorrow is the last day for posting local mail if you want it to arrive in time for Christmas.
*** The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute will host their Christmas Boat Parade this weekend.
The highly anticipated event will feature at least 85 festively decorated boats and yachts of all sizes.
Saturday's parade will kick off at 6.30 p.m. and will circumnavigate Hamilton Harbour twice.
The event will culminate with a fireworks display over the harbour.
In the event of rain, the event will be December 19.
*** The Bermuda College Library will have extended hours for its students for the next two weeks.
The College Library will be open until midnight during the exam period -- December 13 to 16 and December 20 and 21.
The extended hours apply only to Bermuda College students -- students must have valid Bermuda College ID cards and /or Bermuda College Library card.
All other regular opening hours remain in effect.
