Road Show is ready to roll
annual road show entitled "Puppets'', beginning this week.
Producer and programme director for PRIDE Bermuda Patricia Pogson has this year decided to highlight youth who have chosen a drug-free life.
Ms Pogson, who also wrote and directed the show, said she feels the issue of drug abuse is still at the top of a list of priorities the community wants to see addressed.
The production, which is sponsored by the Argus group of Companies, will take its audience back in time to the 1970s and will end in the present year.
The production is simply trying to answer the question "How did we get here?'', according to Ms Pogson. This concept was developed by Danielle Riviere, the youth coordinator of PRIDE Bermuda.
"The public can expect lots of music and dance from the 1970s to the present, comedy, drama and a whole lot of drug-free fun,'' Ms Pogson said.
The performances can be seen at the Clocktower Mall in Dockyard on July 8, Bernard Park softball diamond on July 15, and at King Square, St. George's on July 22.
All shows will begin at 7:30 p.m.
